As all our frames are hand made to order, small variations in size should be expected.
Our product range and prices are simply structured.
We offer three sizes of print (see below) and a choice of three frame colours, or we can provide unframed prints. Most of our photographs are available as colour or black and white images, but a few are just black and white.
We aim to deliver UK orders in 10 working days. We find that this is sufficient for the majority of orders, but please bear with us, in case unforeseen circumstances occur.
Orders which include Tru View museum glass will take slightly longer (up to 6 days) as this glass is ordered in specially. Please bear this in mind when placing your order.
Deliveries to the Republic of Ireland and other EU destinations may take slightly longer. For overseas orders, please contact us for delivery times.
At Christmas, we guarantee that orders falling before our cut-off date will be delivered in good time!
The terms ‘mount’ and ‘mounted’ are used in the UK and are the equivalent of ‘mat’ and ‘matted’ in the USA and elsewhere. As Oxford Pictures is a UK company, we’ll stick to the Queen’s English if you don’t mind!
Our mounts (mats) are made from ‘conservation’ grade, FSC certified, acid-free board. This means that they are from sustainable sources and will not fade or discolour with age. (Strong, constant sunlight may lead to some fading.)
Mount sizes quoted are approximate and may be subject to small variations in the manufacturing process.
Our professional grade digital photographic prints are made on high quality 260 gsm Hahnemühle Lustre Paper. This specialist photo paper has a semi-gloss, velvet finish and guarantees long-lasting, fade-resistant prints. The paper has deeper colour saturation than matt paper and is thicker than traditional consumer papers.
Our prints have a 1/8″ (3 mm) border between the edge of the image and the mount.
Watercolours are printed on 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, which is a characterful, off-white fine art paper with a slight texture. This really brings life to the artwork and gives the feel of a traditional watercolour paper.
All prints are printed using water-based giclée inks.
Delivery is free to UK addresses, included in the price of your item.
