Bridge of Sighs at Night, Oxford
£39.00
Buy a framed print of this photograph of the Bridge of Sighs taken on a clear, cloudless night in Oxford, England. This is actually Hertford Bridge, but is popularly known as the Bridge of Sighs because of its supposed similarity to its namesake in Venice. It links together the Old and New Quadrangles of Hertford College, spanning New College Lane, and celebrated its centenary in 2014. Famous past students at Hertford College include William Tyndale, translator of the Bible and the novelist Evelyn Waugh.
