Christ Church is the University’s largest College (founded 1546) and is home to Oxford’s 12th century Cathedral Church. The Meadow Gate and Meadow Buildings, pictured here, overlook Christ Church Meadow, which serves as pasture for a herd of Longhorn cattle. Charles Dodgson (aka Lewis Carroll) was a don here and based his stories of Alice on the children of the Dean. And of course the College has found recognition with a new audience thanks to a certain young wizard! By kind permission of Christ Church.
